Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor

The December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise carrier based bombing raid conducted by the Empire of Japan against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

On Monday December 8 the United States declared war on Japan. Germany and Italy declared war on the U.S. on December 11.
